4 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Cameron Maybin rejoined the club for Friday’s contest against Cleveland, manning right field and batting seventh. Having been sidelined since July 30 due to a strained right quad, Maybin has five hits in his first six games, but also six strikeouts. Detroit seems committed to giving Maybin an everyday look in the outfield for the time being, which could make deep season-long owners perk an ear up. In a corresponding move, Travis Demeritte was sent out to the team’s alternate site and Victor Reyes figures to lose everyday playing duties, zapping both of their fantasy intrigue.--Jesse Borek
