6 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Cameron Maybin will get a rare start in center field as the Mariners take on the Padres Wednesday afternoon. Maybin has made only one start since August 19 and is hitting only .210 in 62 at-bats during the month of August. Maybin was acquired via trade to provide speed and little thunder to the Mariners outfield depth but has failed to crack the starting lineup recently. This appears to simply be a day off for the veteran outfielder Denard Span. For the season Maybin is hitting .243 with four home runs and 23 runs batted in and cannot be trusted in fantasy lineups for Wednesday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
