7 years agoThe New Orleans Saints are officially signing restricted free-agent wide receiver Cameron Meredith away from the Bears. They will pay him $9.6 million over two years with $5.4 million in guarantees. Meredith missed all of 2017 after suffering a torn ACL, but he caught 66 passes for 888 yards and four touchdowns as a sophomore for Chicago in 2016 and could be a nice under-the-radar move for New Orleans. Meredith could be effective in the middle alongside Michael Thomas and deep threat Ted Ginn, even with the Saints transitioning to more of a run-first club. Meredith will certainly be worth a late-round flier as a WR4 this season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
