3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Camilo Doval picked up his ninth save of the season in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Royals. Doval came on to pitch the ninth inning up by two. He allowed a leadoff walk, but then got a lineout and two strikeouts to end the game. The 24-year-old has served as the team's primary closing option this season and has pitched well, converting all but two save opportunities with a 2.63 ERA over 28 appearances. The Giants took somewhat of a closer committee approach last season, but Doval has emerged as the clear first option this season, making him a solid option for fantasy managers in all leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
