Can Austin Cindric Bounce Back At Atlanta?
3 years agoAustin Cindric begins Sunday from the 16th position at Atlanta. Now, the Daytona 500 winner was excellent late in runs there and on restarts. That could be of great benefit for this race. The big red flag is that Cindric has progressively had worse results since his breakthrough moment. The Team Penske driver was able to mostly keep up with his teammates as the runs got longer. He did not lose an immense amount of speed with a seventh-placed lap average of 30.705 seconds. If the runs are shorter, the No. 2 Ford can stay close enough to possibly net a top-ten result.
