Cardinals Finalize Three-Year Deal With Zach Ertz
3 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals finalized a three-year deal to re-sign three-time Pro Bowl tight end Zach Ertz on Sunday, according to a source. Ertz will come back on a deal ($31.65 million) that keeps him among the league's top-10 highest-paid tight ends at the age of 31. The move is nothing but great news for the Cardinals offense and Ertz's fantasy value heading into the 2022 season. Ertz was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Cardinals in the middle of last season, and he thrived upon his arrival to the desert with 56 catches on 81 targets for 574 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games with Arizona. As long as quarterback Kyler Murray sticks around, which is expected, Ertz will enter 2022 fantasy drafts as at least a midrange TE1.
