7 years agoArizona Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks has been happy with rookie wide receiver Christian Kirk's progression in training camp as he competes for the No. 2 job with the likes of Brice Butler, J.J. Nelson, Chad Williams and Greg Little. “The one thing that I love about him is his motor,” Wilks said. “Of course he’s a good player, he’s smart and all that stuff – that’s the reason why we drafted him – but a lot of times you really don’t know what you get until they actually get here and they start going through the routine. This guy goes full speed on every play. Every play. You try to create that mindset, that muscle memory, and he has that. I love that about him.” The second-round pick has as good a chance as any other rookie wideout to contribute immediately. Working out of the slot most likely, Kirk is a fine late-round flier in fantasy drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
