3 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals said Monday they are "hopeful" starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (shoulder) will return in the 2021 season. The 25-year-old right-hander was placed on the 10-day injured list last week with a right shoulder strain, which followed up a previous IL stint with an oblique strain. Cardinals president of baseball operations John Mozeliak added it's more important "we have Jack for all of 2022," which suggests fantasy managers may want to move on from him for the rest of 2021.--Chelena Goldman
