7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright was officially placed on the disabled list with a right hamstring strain. This was the expected move for a few days now, but now it's been made official. Wainwright is expected to be ready sometime in the middle of April. Rookie Jack Flaherty will take Wainwright's spot in the rotation and could make things difficult for the Cardinals if he pitches well in Wainwright's place.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
