6 years agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Carl Edwards Jr. has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation. Edwards has been one of the better relief pitchers in the game for fantasy owners due to his 14.40 K/9. There is currently no timetable for his return, and Pedro Strop is the likely candidate to step into the eighth-inning role.
