3 years agoNew York Jets defensive end Carl Lawson (Achilles) will miss the entire 2021 regular season. The veteran pass rusher suffered a ruptured Achilles during practice on Thursday. This is a tough blow especially after the team signed Lawson to a three-year deal worth $45 million this past offseason. The 26-year-old was going to be a key part to the Jets defense, so his absence is a significant blow to the team. Bryce Huff replaced Lawson in practice, but Sheldon Rankins and John Franklin-Myers should be in the mix as well.
