6 years agoColorado Avalanche center Carl Soderberg opened the scoring during a 3-2 overtime loss to the Washington Capitals on Friday night. Soderberg has had a respectable start to the season playing on the Avs' third line. He has seven goals, six assists, and six power-play points through 19 games. Soderberg has had three seasons of 40-plus points in his career and should realistically hit that mark again following his solid start.
