Carlos Carrasco Gets 13 Outs Wednesday
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco offered a glimpse of his potential Wednesday, going 4 1/3 innings and giving up two runs on five hits and no walks. He struck out five batters. Carrasco didn't allow a hit until the third inning, and was cruising until appearing to hit a wall in the fifth. Though he ran out of steam in this one, it's only his second start back from a torn hamstring, and in a couple weeks he should be back up to speed. Fantasy managers who have held onto Carrasco despite his months-long recovery have to be very pleased with the early returns.
