3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (hamstring), currently on the 60-day injured list, recently received a PRP injection in his leg because he wasn't able to strengthen it the way he wanted. This explains why Carrasco is no longer throwing off a mound, as reported on Wednesday. Although the Mets claim that Carrasco did not suffer a setback, it is hard to characterize this as anything else. There remains no firm timeline for Carrasco's return.
