Carlos Carrasco Sharp In Season Debut
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco was strong in his first outing of the season Friday, allowing just one run on three hits and a walk in four innings against the Cincinnati Reds. The lone run came on his first pitch of the game as he was blitzed by Jonathan India for a home run. Carrasco threw 58 pitches, slightly more than planned, and figures to throw 70 or so in his next outing. He should be fully built up by mid-August, making him an excellent fantasy reinforcement for managers who have stashed him.
