5 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (hip) threw a live batting practice session Friday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports. Carrasco suffered a mild strain of his right hip flexor early in camp. This is certainly good news for Carrasco and it bodes well for his readiness for Opening Day, although no timeline has emerged. His draft stock has dwindled slightly, but at the end of the day, he's worthy of an SP2 spot on most fantasy rosters. He is someone you can roster at a discount now, but his value may rise every week with encouraging news about his recovery.--James Stokke
