Carlos Carrasco Throws Long Toss Without Issue
7 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (forearm) has reportedly been throwing long toss without any issue to his injured arm. Carrasco has been on the disabled list since last Sunday and is likely close to re-joining the Indians' rotation. In his last outing, Carrasco was horrendous. He gave up four earned runs to the Twins in 1.1 innings pitched. After taking a liner from Logan Morrison to his forearm, he was pulled and sent for evaluation. Carrasco's x-rays came back negative and he was diagnosed with a bruised arm. The injury is not expected to hamper him after he recovers and he might not even be required to throw a rehab start. He should be expected back by the end of the month if this is the case.
