5 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco has been placed on the injured list, retroactive to June 2, with what is being called a "non-baseball, medical condition." Carrasco has apparently felt lethargic for weeks and is stepping away from baseball for now in order to take care of his health. The Indians do expect Carrasco back this season, but it's a scary development nonetheless. Carrasco had struggled this season, with a 4.98 ERA in 65 innings, and this could explain why, although his overall health is the bigger issue for now. Given that Carrasco is expected back this season, stash him on the IL in your leagues, but watch this story carefully.--Nathaniel Green
