4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (hamstring) is scheduled to make a rehab start for one of the Mets' minor league affiliates on Sunday. Carrasco was stretched out to six innings of work on Tuesday during a rehab appearance in Port St. Lucie, Florida with no issues. Assuming Carrasco has no setbacks during Sunday's rehab start, he should be ready to join the Mets' rotation sometime during the week of May 9. Carrasco had a solid 2020 with the Indians posting a 2.91 ERA with 82 strikeouts in 68 innings pitched. He will slot into the Mets' rotation as their SP2 behind Jacob deGrom and should provide fantasy managers with elite ratios and solid strikeout totals.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
