Carlos Carrasco To Undergo MRI Tuesday On Left Side
2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (side) exited Monday's 13-1 loss to the Braves after pitching just two innings with left side tightness. He will undergo an MRI on Tuesday, per MLB.com's Anthony DiComo. Carrasco allowed three runs on four hits (including two home runs) and a walk with a strikeout while experiencing a 55-minute rain delay. Fantasy managers should keep an eye out Tuesday for more news, but side injuries are usually not a great sign for pitchers. Prepare for the worst, as Carrasco has posted a serviceable 3.92 ERA and 13-5 record through 23 starts this season.
