Carlos Correa Dealing With Leg Tightness
2 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa (leg) was unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox due to leg tightness. The Twins wanted to give Correa consecutive days off Wednesday and Thursday. The 27-year-old has struggled at the plate recently, going 0-for-12 over his last four games. On the season, he's still hitting a robust .286/.360/.453 with a .813 OPS, nine home runs, 29 RBI, and 35 runs scored in 61 games in his first year with the Twins. Minnesota is off Thursday; Correa's next chance to return to the lineup will be Friday against the Texas Rangers.
