3 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa (wrist, hand) exited Wednesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles after being hit by pitches in the wrist and hand. He was hit by two pitches in consecutive at-bats, once in the left wrist, once in the right hand. The 27-year-old was replaced by Nick Gordon in the seventh inning. He will be re-evaluated after the game. The severity of Correa's injury is unknown at this time, and he's considered day-to-day. Gordon would see an increase in playing time if Correa were to miss any games. Stay tuned.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
