Carlos Correa Hitting .107 Since Return To Lineup
6 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa will try and get his season cooking when the team opens up another huge series with the Mariners Monday night. Correa is only 3-for-28 (.107) since returning to the lineup from a back injury and is slugging only .143. The talented shortstop was slugging .480 on June 25 when he went down with the injury and simply does not look like himself right now at the plate. He will face right-handed starter Felix Hernandez on Monday and Correa went 2-for-5 with a home run off the veteran last season. Correa needs to be owned in all leagues but needs to get right at the plate before he can be used in DFS formats.
