3 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa will enjoy his day off Monday before the team begins a series with the Rockies on Tuesday. Correa is 5-for-27 (.185) over his last seven games but has popped two home runs during that span. The impending free agent has traded off between strong offensive stretches and prolonged slumps. Correa is experiencing the latter currently and is slashing only .189/.265/.338 since the All-Star break. Despite the recent lull at the dish, the 26-year-old is having a very solid season, slashing .268/.363/.476 with 18 home runs, 25 doubles, 60 runs batted in and 72 runs scored through 102 games played.--Joey C - RotoBaller
