2 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa is working out at shortstop on Tuesday and is likely to return from the COVID-19 injured list and play on Wednesday. The fact that he's working out with the team suggests that he's cleared the league's COVID protocols after testing positive for the virus on May 31. If the 27-year-old gets through his workout fine on Tuesday, we should expect him to be activated on Wednesday and return to the Twins starting lineup. Before landing on the injured list, he was hitting a strong .279/.344/.407 with three home runs, 16 RBI and 17 runs scored in 154 plate appearances covering 35 games.
