Carlos Correa Looks To Snap Skid On Friday
3 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa will look to snap his ice-cold streak at the plate on Friday in the series opener with the Rangers. Over his last 10 games now, Correa is 2-for-37 with one double, two runs scored and a 15:1 K:BB ratio. This slump has dropped his season average by 28 points and his OPS by 83 points, as he's now slashing .272/.368/.483 with 16 home runs, 52 RBI and 62 runs scored over 88 games this year. Friday seems like a good matchup for Correa to get back on track, as he is slashing .291/.406/.445 against left-handers and he is set to face off with lefty Kolby Allard tonight.
