Carlos Correa May Have Non-Displaced Fracture In Finger
3 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa underwent imaging on his middle finger after being hit by a pitch twice on Thursday, and early indications are that he may have a non-displaced fracture. The 27-year-old will undergo a CT scan on Friday to confirm the diagnosis, but it sounds like he will miss some time with the injury. The extent of the injury should be provided from the club sometime tomorrow, but the good news is that he won't require surgery if it is a fracture. Correa has two homers and 11 RBI so far with his new club through 24 games as fantasy managers should start searching for a backup plan to fill their shortstop position on their roster.
