5 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (back) will have to successfully make it through his workouts over the next few days in order to make the Astros ALDS roster. Correa missed the final six games of the season with the back ailment, an issue that has plagued him the past few seasons. Correa and the team are cautiously optimistic he will be in the lineup for Game 1 on Friday but an aggravation of the injury could severely hamper how manager A.J. Hinch can wield his roster. Correa played a career-low 75 games this season, slashing .279/.358/.568 with 16 doubles, 21 home runs, 42 runs scored and 59 runs batted in.--Joey C - RotoBaller
