6 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa is not in the lineup against the Yankees on Tuesday, per mlb.com. This simply appears to be a day off for Correa, who has had an uncharacteristic poor month of May. Over his last 101 at-bats, Correa is slashing a meager .196/. 295/.380 with 25 strikeouts to only 11 walks. He does have 15 runs driven in during this stretch but clearly is not producing at the same clip that fantasy owners have come to expect from the All-Star during his blossoming career. Hopefully this quick breather will allow Correa to begin to turn it up over the next week or so.--Joey C - RotoBaller
