6 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (back) took 30 to 40 swings on Tuesday and said he feels ready to play on Wednesday. He could be the designated hitter in his first game in over a week. Correa has hit only .174/.257/.223 with a homer and 13 RBI in 34 games since returning from the disabled list with his back injury on Aug. 10. He's limping to the finish line, and the Astros just hope he can play and be effective into the postseason.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
