5 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (back) was scratched from the lineup Tuesday at Seattle. Manager A.J. Hinch said Correa's back felt "a little tight" but was feeling no pain whatsoever. It sounds like if this was a must-win game, Correa would be playing, but with the Astros already wearing the AL West crown, the team wants to make sure Correa is healthy for the playoffs after a back issue limited him to 75 games so far this year. Aledmys Diaz will fill in at short and bat seventh against Mariners righty Justin Dunn.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
