6 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa will have a few more at-bats to find a rhythm at the plate before the playoffs begin. It has been a lost season for Correa due to injuries and prolonged slumps but will have the playoffs to wash it all away. The talented shortstop has been dealing with a back injury since early July and has been ineffective since returning to the lineup. He heads into Thursday's action slugging only .234 over his last 107 at-bats and simply does not look like himself. Correa has been moved down in the lineup and currently is a shadow of the player who slashed .315/.391/.550 in 422 at-bats last season. Correa for the season is slashing .239/.322/.398 with 14 home runs, 19 doubles and 63 runs batted in through 394 at-bats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
