3 years agoMinnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said that shortstop Carlos Correa (finger) will be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday's game against the Oakland Athletics. Correa landed on the injured list on May 10 with a right middle finger contusion. To make room on the active roster, right-hander Jharel Cotton will be designated for assignment. Correa is hitting .255/.320/.372 with two home runs and 11 RBI in his first 24 games with the Twins. With Correa returning, top prospect Royce Lewis, who has been filling in at shortstop, could be sent back to Triple-A St. Paul. Correa will return to the everyday shortstop duties, and fantasy managers should be looking to get him back into their starting lineups for Tuesday's action.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
