7 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (toe) is out of the lineup on Wednesday, but he returned to the lineup Tuesday and had solid results. The move is entirely precautionary, but Correa is nursing the injury after fouling a ball off his toe this past weekend. There is no reason to urge Correa to play through this injury, and with an off day on Thursday, the Astros are likely just giving him an extra day to rest up. This also opens up the lineup for veteran outfielder Josh Reddick to get a few at-bats in the interim. Correa is expected to be back in the lineup on Friday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
