Carlos Correa Will Make Twins Debut Sunday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa will reportedly make his team debut in Grapefruit League play on Sunday according to MLB.com's Do-Hyoung Park. Correa hit .279 with a .366 on-base percentage and 26 home runs in 640 plate appearances last season with the Houston Astros. Now with the Twins, Correa should continue to be an above-average fantasy option at his position, though his RBI and run-scoring numbers may decline to a degree with Minnesota in a lineup that doesn't have the depth that the Astros had last season. Houston led the league in runs scored last season, and while the Twins should have a quality lineup with Correa, Byron Buxton, Jorge Polanco, Gio Urshela, and Gary Sanchez they don't look like a surefire bet to finish in the top 10 in the league in runs scored this season.
