6 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Carlos Gonzalez had his Triple-A Columbus contract purchased by the big club on Saturday morning. He is being called up to the majors and may be in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals. Gonzalez carried a .348 average with a home run and three RBI in six minor league games. The 33-year-old slashed .276/.329/.467 with 16 HRs and 64 RBI with the Colorado Rockies in 2018. His fantasy value takes a sizable hit considering he does not play in the friendly confines of Coors Field anymore, but he is still a possible buy-low candidate in season-long formats.
