Carlos Hyde Rips Off 33-Yard Run Thursday
6 years agoCleveland Browns running back Carlos Hyde ran well against the Philadelphia Eagles in his team's preseason game on Thursday. Hyde wound up with 45 rushing yards on seven carries while adding one reception in the contest. His best run was a 33-yard romp on the Browns' second drive, which helped get his team into scoring position. Hyde is clearly ahead of rookie Nick Chubb on the depth chart and can be considered the team's lead back entering the regular season. Chubb should siphon away some opportunities but Hyde appears to be the fantasy back to own in Cleveland. He is unlikely to play in his team's final preseason game.
