4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Carlos Martinez had another rough outing on Thursday, this time against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Martinez pitched five innings, allowing five runs on five hits and seven walks, striking out just two. The veteran was all over the place, throwing just 48 of his 87 pitches for strikes. It's been a rough few weeks for Martinez, who is now 3-9 with a 6.78 ERA. He might not get too many more turns in the starting rotation and absolutely should not be counted on in any fantasy format.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
