4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals pitcher Carlos Martinez tossed live batting practice without any difficulties on Monday, according to manager Mike Shildt. He also noted that Martinez is a few weeks away from returning to the starting rotation after being put on the COVID-19 list, so he will likely be eased back as a reliever initially. Martinez surrendered six runs on seven hits in his only appearance of the 2020 season, but he will have some fantasy value regardless of his role when he returns.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
