6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Carlos Martinez (lat) returned from the disabled list to face the Marlins on Tuesday and struggled. He tossed four innings, allowing two runs on four hits and five walks while striking out five. Martinez threw only 44 of his 75 pitches for strikes. It was his worst start since Opening Day, but not a huge concern considering he only made one very short rehab start. He should be fine for his next start, which will come against the Reds on Sunday.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
