6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals ace pitcher Carlos Martinez made his first start since returning from the disabled list. He drew a matchup against the Colorado Rockies Monday night. He exited the game after just 4 2/3 innings in what appeared to be an unrelated injury to his DL stint. Martinez was doing pretty well however, as he had struck out nine batters and only allowed five on base. It's yet to be determined if he'll miss any time. Martinez has a 3.41 ERA this year despite multiple injuries and troubles with command. He still has a good amount of fantasy value for the rest of the year.--Blake Sullivan
