7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Carlos Martinez (shoulder) will start a rehab assignment with Double-A Springfield on Thursday and will pitch in games on Friday and Sunday, too. He will rejoin the Cardinals next week. Martinez will be rejoining the team in the bullpen for the stretch run, so he loses pretty much all of his fantasy value. You can drop him now in redraft leagues if you haven't already.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
