Carlos Rodon Labors Monday, Takes Loss
2 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Carlos Rodon was inefficient in Monday's 8-3 loss to the Diamondbacks. Rodon needed 101 pitches to get through 5 innings, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts. Despite the poor showing, Rodon has been excellent overall this season, compiling a 7-5 record with a 2.87 ERA, 112 strikeouts, and 30 walks over 16 starts. His next start will be a tough matchup at the Padres, but fantasy managers should feel safe to start him.
