Carlos Rodon Looks Good In Return
3 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Carlos Rodon didn't miss a beat in his return to the rotation on Thursday versus the Toronto Blue Jays. Rodon returned after missing a few weeks with shoulder fatigue. The lefty tossed five innings and allowed five hits, two runs, one walk and struck out three on the afternoon. The three strikeouts were the lowest number that he's recorded in a game this year, but managers shouldn't be concerned about that at the moment. Rodon has mostly been healthy this season and has been putting together a career year. For the season, Rodon is 10-5 with a 2.43 ERA to go along with 163 strikeouts in 114 2/3 innings. Next up for Rodon will be a matchup versus the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday.
