4 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Carlos Rodon looked sharp in his first start of the season versus the Seattle Mariners on Monday night. The lefty ran into trouble in the bottom of the fourth inning with three walks, but was on his game otherwise. The injury plagued veteran would finish with a line of two hits, zero runs, three walks and an impressive nine strikeouts. Rodon was non-tendered this offseason, but wound up back with the only organization he's known and beat out Reynaldo Lopez for the fifth spot in the rotation. Rodon has always had an ability to rack up strikeouts, but health has always held him back. Rodon will square off versus the Kansas City Royals on Sunday in his next start. He is worth consideration in AL-only and deeper mixed leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
