Carlos Rodon, White Sox Avoid Arbitration
7 years agoDaryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports that the Chicago White Sox and starting pitcher Carlos Rodon have agreed to a one-year, $2.3 million deal. It was the first time the 25-year-old was eligible for arbitration. Rodon has dealt with a handful of injuries throughout his big league career but has been productive when he has been on the mound. This past year, the left-hander was only able to throw 69 1/3 innings. As long as Rodon is healthy, and that is a big if, he will be a good source of strikeouts for fantasy owners.
