5 years agoAll-Star first baseman Carlos Santana will sit for his second straight game, as he's dealing with soreness in his left shoulder. Injured while diving into first base on Thursday, Santana was originally slated to start at DH on Friday before being scratched late. Apparently still not 100%, Santana will again be replaced by Mike Freeman, who went 1-5 with two RBI and one run scored starting in place of Santana on Friday. Not thought to be anything serious, look for Santana to rejoin the Indian's lineup in the next day or two.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
