Carlton Davis Unable To Practice Thursday
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Carlton Davis (knee) was kept on the sidelines for Thursday's practice as the team's premier corner battles a knee ailment. Davis has played 100 percent of the defensive snaps in seven of the first nine games this season, and will likely be tasked with helping to slow Robby Anderson and D.J. Moore on Sunday, both of whom torched the Buccaneers Defense for better than 100 yards earlier this year. Defensive coordinator Todd Bowles stated that Davis was just "a little sore," so it doesn't sound as if there are any long-term concerns for those hanging onto Tampa Bay's defensive unit in season-long formats. For those in the DFS market, check back prior to kickoff to get a confirmation on Davis, whose presence will be paramount in slowing the Panthers' passing game.
