7 years agoWith the Carolina Panthers being eliminated from the playoffs in a 26-31 loss to the New Orleans Saints, defensive coordinator Steve Wilks is scheduled to be interviewed for the Indianapolis Colts head coaching position. Wilks is easily one of the most defensive-minded coaches of the candidates, as he was a major part of a 2017 Panthers squad ranking seventh in yards allowed, 11th in points allowed, third in sacks and sixth in recovered fumbles. If the Colts choose to hire Wilks, he will no doubt do wonders in molding this young and malleable defensive crew into a much more respectable unit.--TMax-12
