5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks catcher Carson Kelly went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI in Wednesday's 5-4 road loss against the Colorado Rockies. Kelly has provided the Diamondbacks and fantasy owners in deeper NL-only leagues with a little pop, as he is 15-for-44 (.341) with five homers and eight RBI across 18 games in the month of May to raise his average from .196 to .263. Kelly isn't a bad No. 2 fantasy backstop in many formats, but remember he is jockeying for at-bats with Alex Avila as well as Blake Swihart.--Daniel Dobish
